Portland-via-Brooklyn boy/girl duo Pure Bathing Culture charmed our faces off over the summer with the release of their debut album.
The album, Moon Tides (review here), is a joyous saccharine listen full of synth-pop melodies with a mildly folk-esque shaving, so when they came over to London as part of their European tour, we thought it a must to record a session with them. The dream-popsters performed an acoustic version of ‘Only Lonely Lovers’ in The Lamb Beer & Liquor in North London to an audience of one; the session featuring a very special guest in the form of Alfie the dog, a regular visitor to the pub.
‘Only Lonely Lovers’ can be found on Moon Tides that is out now via Memphis Industries.
You can watch the session below, or via our TV Section. It’s also available via our Youtube page (please watch in HD when possible).
