New York City-based punk outfit Cerebral Ballzy are a band that sure know how to have fun with their wild side well documented; if you go on their Wiki page (as every hack-journalist does for “research”) and you’ll find they have a “keen interest in drinking, girls, pizza and skateboarding.”
Well we can now add poetry to that list. On a rooftop in London leading Ballzy Honor Titus gave the 405 a special reading of his poems – proof of which can be found below. A new album by Cerebral Ballzy, Jaded & Faded, is out on 16th June via Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records. If you’d like to experience Titus’ poetry first hand, he’s holding an event on June 4th at Niagara Bar in NYC (more info here).
